For this stream, a state or territory government agency or Austrade must nominate you for the Business Innovation Stream. This allows you to operate a new or existing business in Australia.

Investor Stream

The applicant needs to invest at least AUD 1.5 million in a state or territory of Australia, and you must maintain your Australian business and investment activities.

Business Innovation extension stream

In order to be eligible for this stream, applicants must have the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa for at least 3 years and must be nominated by an Australian state or territory. Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa holders may extend their stay in Australia for 2 more years after being granted this visa.
